The craft

Engineered scene by scene

Full Room Design

The entire room, art-directed — not just the rack.

Seating layout, fabrics and carpet, color palettes, sconces, marquee signage and custom artwork — composed together with the technology, down to the poster frames.

Acoustic Design & Treatment

The part you can't see is the part you'll feel.

Dimensions, isolation, absorption and diffusion — planned before a single speaker is chosen.

4K & Laser Projection

A picture sized to the room, calibrated to reference.

Laser projection, acoustically transparent screens, professional calibration — sized to the room, not the sale flyer.

Immersive Surround Sound

Sound from everywhere — including above.

Dolby Atmos-class audio, placed and tuned for your exact seats.

Theater Seating & Risers

Every seat is the best seat.

Riser design, sightlines, and seating from sectionals to motorized recliners.

Lighting Scenes & Blackout

One button: trailers roll, lights fade, shades drop.

Star ceilings, step lights and blackout shades on a single "Showtime" scene.

One-Remote Control

If the babysitter can't run it, we're not done.

Every source, one remote — integrated so "Movie Night" dims the kitchen too.

Dedicated theater questions

What does a dedicated home theater cost on Cape Cod or the South Coast?

Well-engineered dedicated rooms typically start around $30,000–$50,000 and range past $200,000 for fully bespoke private cinemas with acoustic construction, premium laser projection and custom seating. A consultation pins down the right number for your room and goals.

Do I need a basement for a home theater?

No. Basements make light and sound easy to control, but we build dedicated theaters in bonus rooms, attics, garages and spare bedrooms — blackout shades and acoustic treatment can make almost any room cinema-dark and cinema-quiet.

What's the difference between a media room and a dedicated theater?

A media room is a multi-purpose living space with great AV. A dedicated theater is engineered for one purpose: controlled acoustics, fixed seating rows, projection sized to the room, calibrated immersive surround and lighting designed for movies. We build both.
